Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette REVIEW & SWATCHES

Who doesn't love chocolate?

I can't imagine my live without chocolate! Just can't.

So, when i found that Too Faced relased this gorgeous palette, i was sooo excited to get it!

Yes, you know what exactly happened next; I ordered it, langsung dua lagi. Hihihi..

Tapi, palette yang satu lagi aku kasihin ke temenku yg baru aja menikah as a wedding gift. I want something special and sweet for her, and again.. who doesn't love chocolate?! ^^

Pas aku unboxing paketnya, OMG, it looks like a giant chocolate bar and when i open to see what the inside looks like, guess what, something really yummy scent comes out! Yes, that's because it made with 100% natural cocoa powder. I could sniff it all day.

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of eyeshadow palette. Sebelumnya aku cuma punya 3 eyeshadow palette, dua diantaranya dibeli buat menuhin seserahan nikah; Sephora Pro Lesson dan Victoria's Secret, dan yang satu lagi my go-to dan everyday palette; it's Urban Decay Naked Basics. Mostly warna-warna yang ada di eyeshadow palette yang aku punya adalah warna-warna "aman" -you know what i mean- 

No vibrant colors. No reds, no yellows, even neons. I am more comfy with smoky kind of look; brown smoky, grey smoky, and cranberry or dark plum smoky eyes. Yaaasss!! I am soooo into cranberry shades these days, and this is another reason i need this palette.

I bought this palettes online (sephora do the world wide shipping), di sephora harganya $49 setelah sampai ke indonesia menjadi sekitar IDR 730.000 (including shipping and tax).

PACKAGING

This palette made of a metal with magnetic closure which is not travel friendly at all (for me). And the size is too big to carry on your makeup bag. So, palette kesayangan ini harus tetap berada dalam makeup closet kalau aku travelling. Sedih sih, tapi lebih sedih lagi kalau isinya jadi rusak atau berantakan karena kebentur sana sini while travelling.

COLORS, PIGMENTATION & FORMULA

Lucunya palette ini diberi nama yang manis-manis. 

Total you'll get 16 beautiful eyeshadows, dua diantaranya adalah highlighting shades yg ukurannya lebih gede dari yang lain. Speaking of the formulation, these shadows are super smooth, velvety, buttery, walaupun beberapa ada yang sedikit powdery, tapi pigmentationnya juara. Eventho i always need a primer before put any eyeshadow onto my lids, but this eyeshadows are very pigmented, kalau yang ga punya masalah sama oil di eyelids, silakan pakai ini tanpa primer, the colors are really pop out!

Besides, it's less fallout than the other eyeshadows that i've tried.

Anyways, i really love this palette. Bakalan aku pake setiap hari.
